Lawn Core Aeration and Overseeding

What is Core Aeration?
Core Aeration stimulates root growth by perforating the soil with small holes to allow air, water and nutrients to penetrate the grass roots.
This has many benefits, such as:
- Improved air exchange between soil and atmosphere, bringing in oxygen and releasing C02
- Encourages thatch breakdown
- Promotes drought tolerance
- Reduces soil compaction
- Allows roots to spread and water to penetrate deeper
- Increases turf grass roots and enhances color
- Grass grows more evenly throughout
- Reduces weed growth
- Strengthens root system

What is Overseed?
Overseeding is the process of planting grass seed directly into existing turf without disturbing the lawn os soil. Typically performed after lawn Aeration, it helps fill in bare spots in lawns, boost turf density, introduce improved grass varieties, enhance color, and strengthen root systems.
